Adele Mara and Adele Uddo
She has won fifteen Grammys and one Oscar and she is also a composer. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, MBE is a name that everybody knows. She was conceived on May 5th, 1988. Her parents brought her into the world of Tottenham District of London. Her father is Welsh and her mother English. When her father had left, her mother brought her home. Since she was just 4 years young, she began to sing. The passion for singing grew. The duo of mother and daughter relocated themself to Brighton. But again in 1999 they moved back to London. West Northwood is the inspiration of her debut track. Adele was a graduate of her BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon where she was studying with Leona Lewis. The class was held in May. Adele, according to Jessie J. Adele, says that the school helped to sustain her talents even when she was at that time towards artisans and collection (A&R), and was expected to pass on different vocations. Adele Mara..............Born Adelaide Delgado in 1925 Spanish-American Adele Mara was a singer/dancer with Xavier Cugat and His Orchestra in Detroit by the age of 15. Cugat dragged this beautiful brunette in New York. She was then signed by Columbia's talent Scout in the year 1942. Cugat was a part of a variety of low-key, boring B movies with Tex Ritter including Vengeance of the West in 1942 as well as Alias B. Blackie which was released in 1942 and starring Chester Morris. In the following years, she became the sexy, platinum blonde pin-up when she signed with Republic Studios. She stayed busy with senoritas role, usually with Roy Rogers as in Bells of Rosarita (both 1945) as well as Gene Autry as in Twilight on the Rio Grande. Blackmail, Web of Danger and Wake of the Red Witch together with John Wayne were also good options. Her most memorable roles would be in Angel In Exile (1948) and Sands of Iwo Jima (1949) the latter again starring Duke Wayne. It wasn't often that she got the chance to demonstrate her acting skills However, her film career declined at the beginning of the 50s. The Big Circus (1959) and Victor Mature was her final appearance. Adele moved from TV to film where she had a few guest appearances. Mostly westerns. She eventually settled down to have a family following her marriage to TV billionaire Roy Huggins who produced many hit shows including 77 Sunset Strip (1958) and Maverick (1957). In her role as a guest, she participated in numerous of the shows. The couple had three sons. Huggins was murdered in 2002.
