Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She received critical acclaim in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper, her first TV role in CBS soap drama Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her credits on film.
