Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actor from the United States. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. At the beginning of the 80s, she began her career in film with the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her role was featured in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy that followed her initial success. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best high school films of all time. It was produced for just $1,000,000, but the film made in excess of 50 million dollars. Additionally, she began participating in various television shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. The show targeted teenagers and began airing in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that the actress appeared on. Recent appearances by Sheedy includes Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where she appears in a cameo. Her incredible performances have earned many awards like her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
